i love the new animations in this game...

Im probably just old and forgetful but the new animations and player interactions this version are alot of fun. What I've seen so far:

1. Just had a corner try and press my wr. The Wr chucks the db to the side and is wide open for an easy touchdown.

2. Ive seen numerous back of the endzone catches where the wr just manages to land his feet in bounds, out of bounds, or gets tackled out.

3. I love that I can finally throw a fade route to the back of the end zone where only the wr can catch it.

4. The over the shoulder grabs are great.

On defense the tackling is pretty cool and I finally notice the gang tackling. Another cool animation.

I know I've seen many other cool animations where I thought to myself, Wow, that was pretty sweet.
What are some animations/player interactions/parts of the game that you have really enjoyed so far?

I like how more realistic the shoe string tackles are,

or when the player places he hand down to prevent from falling stumbles for a few extra yards.

I have seen a really nice leaping grab on the side of the endzone where the player drags his feet similar to the holmes catch in the super bowl

I also saw the catch the ball on the helmet at least it looked that way to me and daw..

And I love how you can block a fg by jumping in the middle this year.

I ran back a kickoff today with LSU in my online dynasty and the two guys blocking in front of my guy had their hands raised in the air with a number 1 sign and the crowd was going nuts, it was way cool.

I still wish the crowd would react more on turnovers, sacks, etc.

i just played plasma, late 2nd quarter, 4wr against my 326 cover 3, (i didnt notice how his reciever came to be so wide open, but after talking on aim after the game he told me about it) he drops back, looks for an open reciever, pump fakes my defender was faked out so bad he fell down. Wide open, easy TD! I thought it was sweet that a pump fake actually worked, and not to mention my defender fell down!!!!!

It was a great play. personally im loving the game. i still throw bad passes but thats just me.

I saw a new animation in my RTG. I am a running back and when I stay in to block, instead of ending the block as soon as the pass is thrown I continue to block and the guy I am blocking and my player both drop their arms and lean in on each other like they are jawing are talking trash. I thought it looked pretty cool.

had a tipped pass where the receiver rushed back to the ball, slid to both knees while cradling the ball to safety...first down!!

was playing a game in the rain and my TE slipped on the post route....needless to say it didn't end well for me on that play. Another nice little twist of realism though.

There are bugs in the game I don't like but EA has made a big step in the right direction.

had a ball tipped by the d-line and the DE caught it in a fully extended reach, had to take a couple of long strides to gain his balance then promptly took it to the house...
