I may have to dabble a bit in this TGC tours thingDRiccio21 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 10:52 am https://tgctours.com/Home/RulesPolicies
Scroll down to difficulty settings
Would also highly recommend you join TGC tours… best online leagues since NDL imo. You’ll be placed in the group you qualify near. There are tons of different levels for different competition and if you start winning tournaments you get promoted to higher ones, or if you suck, demoted

Re: PGA Tour 2k21
i joined the TGC one also, i will try to do my qualifying stuff tonight and figure out what is going on

Re: PGA Tour 2k21
It let me in, will try first round now. I play in another society that does different settings so this may be challenging to do both like Dave mentioned. Seeing the % on the bar and the blue line is wild.
Re: PGA Tour 2k21
we can always do away with that stuff next season if that is what everyone wants

join up and i will admit you
its pretty low key and will be easy for some but we arent above upping the difficulty next season
we are currently in our 2nd season. we usually do 3 tournaments then a 'major'
regular tournaments used to be 2 round and majors 4
we have since upped it to 3 & 4
tourneys are usually open 2-3 days each then on to the next
I believe I grabbed this when it was free not too long ago.
I assume the society I find through the game?

Re: PGA Tour 2k21
There is a steep learning curve playing in the TGC style settings Vs what you guys are playing at.
It’s probably worth it to switch but it might not be fun, especially if you struggle w the current settings already
You’d have to give it some time and grind thru til you get the hang of it

Re: PGA Tour 2k21
Joined the Beer league on TGC. Shot a +4 first round, leaders are shooting -14 to -16 a round.
I can't even shoot that on a lower difficulty setting. I'm guessing this isn't the league for me

Re: PGA Tour 2k21
Tried it a couple of years ago, that's why I could never get into it.
Re: PGA Tour 2k21
i totally get you guys point and agree somewhat. i also sometimes don't mind it because it makes it so you can't make a mistake which can also be fun
I would also say its a pretty "stock" game. Meaning if they can shoot it you can too...they're just better
maybe i am wrong

Re: PGA Tour 2k21
I don't mind playing with Dan and his -14 a round. The rest of us are interchangeable, you probably being 2nd best, I'm waaaay better than Bama and now that we have Joe and Dave in the league we have a much better 2-5 than beforeajalves wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 6:04 pmi totally get you guys point and agree somewhat. i also sometimes don't mind it because it makes it so you can't make a mistake which can also be fun

Dan is beatable if you shoot a perfect round and he screws up once, otherwise 2-4 has been pretty competitive with you, Bama and I

Did I join the right society? Playing at Zuyderzee?
Re: PGA Tour 2k21
Those guys would shoot -20 on these settings
After you do qualifying they put you in a league w the people in your general skill range.
There are probably 120 guys per league so there will always be a few guys that to low each round

Re: PGA Tour 2k21
Joined TGC Tours last night. Did my first round of Qualifying this morning. +10 on the first 9, +4 on the back.
I don't mind the % bar not being there until I get around the green, then the wheels fall off. Had a ton of 3 and 4 putts. Anything outside of 10 feet was almost impossible to make. Not sure how anyone can shoot under par like that.
I did read that in the Beer League, it's open to have the % bar, so maybe that's the route I need to go.
