I think I may have found a better way. Weighted averages. This way newer GMs don't get punished for past GMs record and gives a more current state of the league.
Gonna tinker around with it but at a glance I like the division setups pretty good so far as is.

1st revision complete using weighted averages. I think this paints a better picture of the league currently and in the short term future. I like it better and it accommodated more preferences. Feedback appreciated.

The Beef are definitely not a tier 1 team. We are a consistent tier 3 team, we just get a good team for a good 5-7 year run and then garbage for a decade.

I don't like being the standard bearer for the league with the weighted average. I'm just an average owner at best that got lucky with some IFA's and trades panning out. Complete and in game. Used weighted averages. Eyeball test looks good.
Next time potentially only using previous 5 yrs and weighting final 3 heavier.
