All social media is there to get people to fight. I use Facebook for fleet washing groups, I rarely post anything on my own feed. And on occasion I like to make smart ass comments on our local newspaper page and the local police scanner group (kinda like you do here)

You have to follow some news sources that you don't agree with though. Otherwise you are getting the news you want to hear. As bad as it hurts my soul, I do watch MSNBC just to hear what those idiots are saying. I have been watching a lot more Al Jazeera though. They have some good programming and when they have their news on it's just the news without the pundits sitting around a table arguing for 30 minutes.

Finally got that Fiber internet in my area and just got it set up.

Getting speeds near 500 Mbps, and somehow my monthly bill is now cheaper than when I had the 50 Mbps plan. Win Win!!!

I do notice when on my laptop just pulling up random web pages. They load immediately. It's nice but not a complete game changer

We also have a million devices streaming at any given time and I notice slowness when we're all on multiple devices so I assume this'll help with that too.

Hopefully it blunts what was looking like a overwhelming republican runaway with the midterms other then that not much will change.

The states that are gonna ban abortions it is already incredibly difficult to get one.

I bet that draft being leaked will probably get them to change their position before the actual release of their ruling. The person that leaked the document should be held accountable though, maybe nothing criminally the DOJ can do but outing the person could lead to them not getting hired by a lot of firms.

They were awful to deal with for people about to make $1 million on a sale. Arguing over $5k-$10k of shit they really should take the responsibility for.
