Re: NBA Thread
I think Orlando may have fucked up not drafting Chet.
Re: NBA Thread
I’ve always wanted to go to Vegas for NBA Summer league. Everyone says it’s awesome for an nba fan. I really really want to get serious and see if some of the NDL hoop heads would want to plan a Vegas summer league trip next year.

Lebron said if he were Britney Griner, he'd question whether he even wanted to return to America

Re: NBA Thread
If that is true, he is a bigger idiot than I originally thought. He has enough money to be able to see the world, and if he doesn't realize how much better he has it here (even as a black man) than 99% of the world then there is no helping him and his thought processes.
I can forgive the ignorance of people when they say stupid shit like that because they have never been outside their bubble due to the economics of traveling around the world.

Re: NBA Thread
99%? Lol
The most recent overall peaceful index had America 129th in the world. Canada for example, was 12th (first time outside top 10)

Qatar is number #23. That says enough about that list.nick wrote: ↑Tue Jul 12, 2022 3:24 pm 99%? Lol

Love the "peaceful" index here. I just looked for the first country I knew for 100% fact that it's not safe for everyone to live there. Foreign workers are treated like slaves, women have less rights, etc...nick wrote: ↑Tue Jul 12, 2022 3:24 pm 99%? Lol

Re: NBA Thread
Ya that’s a Muslim country. What’s your point?
Re: NBA Thread
YouTubeTV is pretty great. We had been switching to it every baseball offseason (must have Spectrum to watch the Dodgers in LA) but now Spectrum's package deal with everything is less than having internet and YouTubeTV in the offseason, so that's no longer happening for us.
2023 NFL interesting note though - off topic to this thread - Sunday Ticket will be going to a streaming service with a deal expected to be in place later this year (deal with DirecTV runs through this regular season).
It would be very interesting if Bezos just gobbles that up and then offers it for much less as an add on to Prime to continue to take over everything.

Re: NBA Thread
Yep, other than missing the 4 multi screens that PS Vue was doing 5 years ago, it's solid.
I watch most games on DVR fast forewarning through all the downtime and it's just so much easier to do on YouTube TV than on the NBA League Pass. It's worth the $200 a season or whatever I pay just for that.
