I haven't checked it out yet, but I did use this for 09 at the end of last season. It's such a HUGE help.

I just loaded it up real quick (I used the VG version last year) and holy crap, it's super nice. You can search by the play. (obviously not all formations have all plays) If someone takes the time to map the play art in, this is going to be an amazing tool.

Its useful for formations. but without the play art you have to be a true O coordinator to recognize all the plays.

What issues are you having..i just installed mine and it works as designed.

Well, I guess I was figuring the play art was going to be there. But on the left hand side of the screen you cant type in a play. At the very top of the screen all you see his Help, you dont have the normal file, edit, view buttons. Is Help the only drop down menu at the top?

this is what i get. You wont need to type the play just drill down and select the play you are looking for. Click on search on the left middle of thescreen and it wil llist all the playbooks that contain that play. Alernatively, you can just go to the formation checkbox and finall all playbooks with that formation in it. Its handy, but like i said the clip art will help tremendously.

Yeah, you'll need to have a pretty good grasp on what the plays actually are. If they update the playart, I'll repost for everyone. The only one that tends to get me is "HB Option" and remembering that it's not an actual Option Run, but a HB Option Route Pass.

One other thing I wish they had was a "Match Specific" on one criteria with a "Match Any" on another, all in 1 search.

But hey, it works good for what it's meant to do, so I can't complain.

I'm hoping someone takes the time to do it, but it's such a massive project. Just checked and no one has even hinted at taking it on yet.
