And how is that any different than playing on heisman where some guys throw 5 TDs passes and 42 INTs for the season???

Yes, but that exaggeration you just said goes directly on that users skills.

You really think if we go AA there still wont be a ton of guys with more interceptions than TDs?

I think it will be about the same and if there is a difference, very marginally. Like 3 to 5 guys even.

I think there will be somewhat of a difference.

But the main point is our game will FINALLY be more of an offensive oriented game and less of an INT fest 4 out of every 5 games. And this is college football, a very offensive oriented game, so that seems more realistic.

And how much skill would it really take to rush for 2000-2500 yards with Jahvid Best???

So, it works both ways, let's try to have some offense for once, lol.

I agree...I know this is the NDL, but what makes the NDL great is the guys who play to have fun. And throwing 42 INTs a season is not fun. I mean, there's no question there are different levels of players in this league, but I'd love to see those players have more access to an offensive game. I think if we keep playing Heisman just because, and the defensive numbers stay ridiculous, it'll be to the detriment of the future of the league. Guys will begin dropping out of frustration because they can't have any fun on offense, and the only guys who do have fun on offense are the ones with the best teams who spend the most time practicing. And if we do that, I just kinda feel like we change the focus of the league from fun to total competition.

I've only played a couple games, but I've seen some RIDICULOUS INTs on Heisman. Like, my receiver drops it, and a defender is laying on the ground and catches it. More than once. Just my thoughts. AA all the way. If it's a mistake then let's switch next season, but I think a lot more people would have fun.

I dunno, Im not great by any stretch at this game but offense is of plenty on heisman as far as I can tell on games I've played.

BUT combined total score, I would tend to agree. Im all for wide open and fun ability for EVERYONE, but 70-80 seems like a pretty fair assesment of total scores for both teams.

I think every AA game I had so far was in that range if not 60-70 range.

Again, not bashing either level but I personally love Heisman and AA would just be who gets the ball last wins. Then again, Im not a good representation because my D is HORRID.
I think this might be ok...chances are all these games with high scores talked about were evenly matched teams right? Well, what's the matter with Texas and Oklahoma playing to a 45-35 finish? I think it's easier to also assume this will happen when we're all playing scrims. I think a lot more scores will be tamer because of a little more caution in league games.

See I guess we've just played different games so far cause I havent seen the turnovers that you have. In my last game with biffy I fumbled the ball on like 5 str8 possessions but that wasnt because of a ridiculous defense It was me doin the same thing over and over with trying to juke in crowd of defenders.

This is true and I agree with that...if we are on Heisman. ;)

Good point though. We are all testing a bunch of different crap out on D,O, and all kinds of playbooks and new plays.

Sweet. I'm gonna let you drive the bandwagon from now on since you seem to voice your opinions much better than I do.

But I'm definitely riding shotgun!!!

Wasn't last year one of the highest for INT thrown? I don't see a ton of interceptions on Heisman so far, especially to the extent of your comment of 5 TD : 42 INT Shel. We are also still less than a week in and I'm fairly confident it gets easier learn what works well on offense than what works on defense as time goes on

I dont think offense is up just because scoring is up.

Granted your games may be different than mine, but i played nole on heisman, beat him 56-42, but there was probably 3 or 4 defensive TDs and about 8 INTs between us.

We'll still score a lot on heisman, but mainly because the D will either score or setup TDs with the ridiculous amount of INTs.

So far AA is dominating I would say so you wouldnt need to campaign much.

I just need to get used to letting the computer play defense and walking away to come back and score every posession on offense when we go to AA. :D

So, you're saying they played kinda high scoring like real life college football games?

:D :D :D

More like in arena with no thought of defense at all.
Its one thing to score a lot,its another to have crazy stuff happen on D because you are on a low level. :D

Just curious, what aspect of this game is SO different than previous versions that we all of a sudden go to AA for?

Not demeaning anyone's opinion but curious on people's thoughts.

Sure the game is improved but the improvements in my opinion dont have anything to do with what level we play on.

When was the last time we went to AA?

Well, the INTs in this one grabbed my eyes, as well as the defensive pressure. Even on Heisman last season, you had a little time to throw the ball. This season, with the pressure that it is, and considering that as you get hit your ball will flutter, I think that could be a recipe for even more INTs...I would also assume most of the scrims having taken place were guys playing each other that were of similar ability.

Did Heisman start with the ps3? Or were we playing Heisman on the ps2? I can't remember. Was Jeffmo commish?

Offense will be there in regardless of what we play on. its just a matter of how much offense you want. I will tell you we will have the highest avg scoring we have ever had in the NDL if we play on AA.

Also, Offenses usually get better as the game goes on over defense as it is in real life. The rushing game is insane on Hesiman, it will be ungodly on AA. Jehvan Best, Charles Scott, etc... will be damn near locks for 3000 yards rushing if they want to be.

I dont know if this would be the norm but I was playing sixft earlier and he was Cal and I shit you not Javid Best had to of had 300+ yard rushing midway into the 3rd when we go disconnected. He was unstoppable inside or outside didnt matter where the run went.
