despite my seemingly gross season i actually enjoyed this year quite a bit.

the Hatch injury was a bummer but i wanted to give a lot of young players a chance to play which i was able to do. while a few of them sucked enormous cock and sabotaged my chances of being successful, i was able to salvage some new usable pitching moving forward which i think my team will be better off for in years ahead.

still got the 3rd youngest ML roster in the league and some $ to make some free agent signings.

we'll be back!

Richmond plays a slightly harder schedule here than the defending champions. I, for one, will be rooting on the Greeks to take this so that pitching staff in Cookeville has to play one extra series. This gets decided by a playoff game and Cookeville most likely wins that if their pitching rotation is set up for that game.
The three games I have @ LA will be the deciding factor in my opinion. Between the two of us that's the toughest series remaining on either of our schedules. We both finish out with ten straight home games as well. Both of us face RI, but he also gets Philly. I just honestly don't know how this is going to end.

On a separate note, kudos to SP Lewis Fritz. He was a mid season acquisition off the FA pool asked to step in after the Duane Atkins and James Johnston injuries. I never expected a 35 year old 47 POT player to step into a starting rotation position and help us the way he has.

Good write up George.

QUESTION on fielding stats -- because Youngstown doesn't have much to be excited about ... but 2B Roberto Rivera having a 20.1 ZR for the season... is there a way to see the all-time NDL record for ZR by position, or is it only possible to look back year-by-year to see the leaders?

Who is going to stop Washington this year? They are probably the best team in the league right now.

How many times has the best team going into the playoffs won the title?

Not knocking on him, honestly curious.
