I don't really care man, do what you want. You'd be better served to just keep Butler. He's projected to hit .292 with 12 HR's 52 rbis and 49 runs the rest of the way. Hosmer is projected to hit .279, 12 HR's, 52 rbi's, and 45 runs. So you're giving up a better player, for his lesser counter part that has "potential" along with giving a closer to the league leader, whom you're trying to catch.

Zero chance Butler scores more runs or steals more bases than Hosmer from here on out...20/20 players don't grow on trees. And I'm more concerned with getting into the money, slow start killed the title hopes

Butler is a pure DH whereas Hosmer is versatile enough to play the outfield, so who do you think has more run potential? Where do you get your projections from

Bloomberg and Rotowire both have similar numbers. I don't really follow those things, but it's a neutral 3rd party at least

Honestly I dont care if this goes through or not. I need help in saves and average. I love hosmer and i think he is the better player in the deal as well. I am glad this trade made some people get active lol

I wouldnt do it DeeDub. Its this or we need to add another player on my side and you need to upgrade on the Closer. Just letting you know!
