well i just studied my shot for awhile and how some of these messed up shots look

When shooting notice you never put your hand square behind the ball and if you do it's at the end of the release...Normally it's like on the side a little and at an angle

if you still having trouble understanding what i mean try and turn your right hand as far over you can by focusing on the right outside of the right hand as the main main point

So what I did was learn to move/flex my hand as if I was making it straight foward with my thumb in a straight line out with outside finger(forgot the name)the one right next to the thumb think it's called the pointer

Well when doing that it gave my arm the perfect form on each shot.Made me flex my elbow and follow thru correct every time.

and with the pre shot thing I mostly do it on free throws I start by placing the ball on my belly button then extend it outwards till it felt good.This would help with my follow thru and form.

Man the hand thing made my shooting % shoot way up I don't know what the heck made me think of it but it works....well atleast for me it has.

very interesting....im really not into perfect form. I dont teach the whole straight elbow shit. im into taking the off hand out of the shot itself and using your shooting pads. And really following through fingers down.

Your method sort of confuses me because I dont use that terminology.
Amazingly, when I got to college, coaches always were trying to make my fucking elbow perfectly straight. Of course my percentage fell way down. I went from a top 5 shooter in America in high school to an average shooter because of sorry ass coaches wanting me to have the "look" of a perfect shot. I had great release, follow through, perfect spin, but it wasnt good enough, ah well.

I have a college coaches I know out in the South. Do you have any film? You playing this year?
