Any one actually play the offline mode to see if it's better than the online reviews? I normally just play the missions and was planning on picking it up when I land in b-more today.

So should I wait a month to get the game so the stuff is fixed.

You normally only have a game for slightly over a month after it comes out before you return it. Waiting a month to buy it cuts into that time. Better get it now. The clock is ticking!

whats broken on the game? someone mentioned the party system, but i though Sixpack said its since been fixed

Well waiting for the issues to be fixed may make me stay around more as that was one of my reasons for dropping so fast previously.

May actually make it 3 weeks.

to the point where BLOPS even sounds fantastic. It actually took me a while to get used to playing with them because sounds i had never heard before were so intense

Yeah, about an hour in they released some kind of patch thing that instantly loaded and it fixed them.

turtlebeach was easily the best investment I made for games. And it's like, at most, $30 more than the shitty little playstation blue tooth one

I will have to try a set of the Turtle Beach headsets.
They are expensive though. For wireless, they can get up to $200 or even $300.

Which model do you guys have or recommend for a decent price of $150 at most and under would be much better.

go with the px21 jerry. the run about $75 .the are not wireless ,but the chord is very long and you wont be disapointed at all. if you buy it at best buy ,pay the extra 10-15 for the extended warranty just in case they break. i didnt buy it at first then the headset went out, so i went and bought a new pair , waited 2 weeks and returned the old pair and said it wasnt working. so now i got 2 sets and the warranty when one of them breaks to replace it again.
