Updated as I play:

First things first...the friends list is FUCKING BUTTER. So smooth. That was one of my pet peeves with Blops.
Sprinting is too slow. But it may just seem that way to me because I played with lightweight on all day.
Playing with the G36. So far I would take it over any gun in Black Ops. Much more like MW2. You kill people much faster.
Haven't really figured out killstreaks yet. All I've gotten are care packages with a sentry gun and predator missiles.
Not as good as MW2.

Except that parties don't work

I love this game 1,000,000x more than BLOPS. I'm enjoying double XP too.

- The sound is abysmal. The guns sound like they are from Resistance.
- Sprinting is terrible.

I hope I am the only one with a general level of disappointment. I say that because I'd like this initial shock to wear off.

Battlefield wins.

The guns are outrageously stupid. In the two hours I was playing, I would say that Battlefield wins in nearly every conceivable category except variety of game modes. I am converted.

Dang I am seeing this same review in some other boards I read but don't post on. Has anyone enjoyed it thus far? I only actually buy it for single player and will play online for a month and trade it in to get drakes.

I am really hoping some of these other guys come up with some positive things to pep me up because from what I can see, this is a disaster.

- Hoos will feel at home since the guns sound like they are from the future and used to shoot aliens. Wait until you fucking hear them! I railed on about the sound in Black Ops and this is worse!
- Every map (I think) is urban and ranges from tiny to medium. This is, of course, a matter of opinion but I certainly don't like it.
- Can I die/kill any quicker? I killed four fucking people in one hold down of the trigger. Obviously I was happy, but there is no way I should have killed the third guy, let alone the fourth. All in all, unless there is some patch, you will die a lot. On the good news front, it doesn't seem like shooting a guy four times in the leg kills him as fast as two in the chest like in previous versions.
- Grenades are useless. Apparently, people like this, though.
- On one of the maps, I could see flag "B" from "A" and shoot at it. C'mon now.

I am startled with how poor this seems. Modern Warfare, World at War, and Modern Warfare 2 were so incredibly awesome. Black Ops was bad and this one seems to be just as lackluster. I am sad.

Yes, grenades are shit now.
You die very quickly.
Spec ops is awesome.

Quick scoping is definitely back. I didn't get quick scoped but I tried it out a little bit and it is very easy compared to black ops.

Overall opinion after 10 or so games....

Awesome, so excited after the last 4 games that they still cant seem to have party systems working day 1. took blops 1 month to fix issues. I also say we are in "Ncaa review" mode now when it comes to COD games. We play em so much and we have an expectation on how we want it to be and if it is not exactly right we shit on the negative.

Trendon is the worst guy to give a review. One second he hates BF, now it, and its 3 game modes, kills this.

Want good sound? get a Turtle Beach head set. things are insane.

Agree with the headset. Not sure what set up trend on has on his tv but sound on any game has not been an issue since I got a turtle beach. Unless its just a pure abortion which it never will be, I'll play it for a year because I like playing with my friends. I don't go to bars so this is the next best thing. Ready for the a team return
