Nothing agianst BG or any non bcs team..
While I do believe BG should be in a BCS game, they should not be playing for NC.
For any NON BCS conference team to make the NC we have to beat some top ranked teams other then teams in our conference that happen to be ranked.
The rating of a team on a video game cause that is what this is, makes a difference.
Factor in a solid coach controlling that highly rated team, and it would make it very differcult for even a solid coach with a subpar rated team to honestly compete against a USC, Florida, FSU, Ohio State .. Etc. Unless they have proved otherwise throughout the season.
Also with that said to go undefeated as any team is impressive, it is not easy. So days your team just does not compete to their level or you just dont have it, and you can slip up and lose a game.
Hell I fully expected to go undefeated this year, but a good game plan a yard short, and whatever led to 3 losses..
Guys that we thought would go undefeated didnt and others were just a championship game away.
So it is hard to go undefeated in this league.
But until a non BCS team schedules at least one highly rated team and beats them, and has a solid OCC.. Doesnt have to be all crazy Bulldog status.. But show the potential is there.. Then I dont foresee a non bcs team playing for a National Title.
