what?
I don't care if you did or didn't take a player, the bottom line is that it happened and it is pity baseball.
This might be the worst idea ive ever seen offered to the NDLB. Making divisions based on 3 yr avgs when minor league dev takes 4-5, and people, some of us at least, like to set our rosters up against our competition in division.. but that wont matter because when rdy we'll be in another division. Fun.

Except we see how that worked out for Richmond last season as we showed who the better team was.
Not my fault he plays shittier teams throughout the season each year.

Personally, I am torn on the idea.
I like baseball and football in real life, how they have divisions and it can happen that a better team in another division, doesn't make it in. But I can also see the NBA style where it really is the best records in each Conference get in, so no good team is left out.

I wouldn't mind this, I just like the idea of two divisions bc we have byes, makes winning the division important

It the second best team in the AL may not get the bye though if we go to two divisions. Hell the 3rd and 4th best team could be forced to play in the wildcard series

That's the fall's NDL Cup
I'd like to see a lottery style for drafts as well. Not sure if anyone would be on board with that
That is another thing my other league does.
I can ask him what he uses and such but I am a fan because just because you want to tank with your team, you are not guaranteed the #1 draft pick.
I'm not at all in favor of the top teams idea in option 1. Option 2 I'd be open to if it involves a regional realignment. Therefore not voting yet until option 2 specifics are clear.
If we are not staying with 3 divisions per league, then I am more for 1 division per league. NBA style.
Take the top 8 teams in the AL and give #1 and #2 a bye the first round. Do the same in the NL.
What does having 2 divisions per league accomplish over what we have today with 3 divisions?
Yes, it would fix that if the North Division had 3 teams with 114, 100 and 89 wins, they would all end up getting into the playoffs, but you could still have Team X in the South Division get into the playoffs with only 79 wins and get the bye since they won their shittier division.
So my vote is either 1 big division per league (AL and NL) or keep it the way it is now.
