Are ranked games on a certain level, or can you still change it?VeniVediV1ci wrote:fwiw, my plan is to play ranked games until someone comes on and makes a firm decision.

Re: Practicing on which level?
AA vs heisman....
The heisman games I have played have been more defensive struggles. they seem to be more realistic from the Defensive side of the ball because the coverage is much tighter. Cant make a late throw cause its picked or knocked down. Running seems about the same on both level wich I love.
AA is more wide open. Not like it was last year, because the AI seems a bit smarter depending on how much you tweak the gameplan stuff. But the scoring has been higher. Not that it matters for the NDL league but on the online leagues i say 100% all the way. THe CPU proves to be a nice challenge and makes you work. Ratings really play a big role on team play so you guys running with B- teams shouldnt blow out an A+ team every time out.
I'm like most on league play..undecided.
Concerning online dynasties....i've made a firm decision - Heisman.

Re: Practicing on which level?
Ive upped my percentage of Heisman favoring to 60% over AA.
The more I have gotten used to the game, the more realistic it seems on Heisman. Still had huge plays in the run game and pass game and the game just plays a lot more realistically and not "arenaish" on AA.
Still very early, but my vote is definitely Heisman as well right now.

I'm with Corey on this one.....my one game against Mike on AA was enough for me to know that I need some CPU assistance on Defense. He took me to the cleaners.

haha RTP, when does Mike not beat everyone!!! As for me, played about 7 games (at work again today but off all day tomorrow), i ve thought Heisman was more realistic.

So, VVV, since the league will probably put it up to a vote, why wouldn't you play on both so you can make an informed decision and vote and have your voice heard??

See, I dont think it plays "arena-ish", I think it plays, college football-ish, whereas Heisman tends to play more NFL-ish, lol.Cnasty wrote: just plays a lot more realistically and not "arenaish" on AA.
College football is such a wide open game with tons of big plays, and I think AA captures that without going overboard.

Re: Practicing on which level?
I realize my vote doesn't matter so I just play to get a ranking for a little while until I give in and only play league games after a while.shel311 wrote: So, VVV, since the league will probably put it up to a vote, why wouldn't you play on both so you can make an informed decision and vote and have your voice heard??
I would be shocked if we went away from heisman again, although I normally enjoy the games on AA more because I like more scoring in games. All of this is because usually I play a very conservative style that involves limited passing because I simply can't pass, and the chances to break more long runs usually makes me a better player.

What do you mean your opinon does not matter? You get a vote and it is put to a vote with just about every new game.

But if everyone thought that way and didnt vote, where would we be now?VeniVediV1ci wrote:i have .00833 control so in essence it doesn't matter when i'm less than 1%
I would be surprised if we went AA. Like I said though, I enjoy both for different reasons but Heisman is my vote right now after playing about 5 or 6 on each.

Re: Practicing on which level?
I am 99% for AA now.
Heisman is easier to run on then last year, but MUCh harder to pass on.
So, we'll just be looking at the same old 1st person to 4 INTs wins the league games and instead of only 15-20 guys having more TDs than INTs, we might have 10-15, lol.
I'm hoping for a change from the same old league games and same old league stats we've had on heisman for so many seasons now.
It'll never be completely realistic, but i think AA would give us the best college feel for this game.

Re: Practicing on which level?
where is Nole with his statistical paper plate break down of if we play on Heisman we'll only have "this many" 1000 yard rushers and on AA there will be "this many"...blah blah blah
