I’ve become a fan of Ball State. A lot of that is due to the fact that I live only about 15 minutes from their campus. Of course, I’ll always be an IU fan first and foremost and whenever the two teams meet there’s no doubt who I’m cheering for.

So where does Austin Peay fit in here, and what if they had a division 1 football team?

I always pull for the Peay and go to as many games as I can when possible, both football and basketball. But I grew up 20 minutes from IU and have probably spent more time on that campus in my life than many students. I guess if I had to rank them in order, it would be:

1. IU
2. The Peay
3. Ball State

Anyone making any references to any similarities between myself and Seeit will be immediately virtually kicked in the nuts.

I will say, that with my time in the Farm and the NDL- I have a better grasp of teams when it comes time to make those "Saturday Morning Investments".

A buddy I played ball with in HS played at BGSU, hence I became a fan and was the reason I took them for so long. I started at USF in season 2 and followed them quite a bit but never would have thought theyd explode like they have

I do find myself following teams I use cause I know more of the players. I always been a fan of Georgia and Minnesota, so I am usually good to go as far as teams used!

I agree, although I wasn't aware that Miami fans cared about Pitt. My sister in-law got a onesie for her future child with "Poop on Pitt" on the front. I prefer the original:

It used to be quiet in here. Now your back. PITT is IT !!! I prefer that original.
I can't wait for you turds to come down to Morgantown this year. We've crapped the bed two years in a row, and I'm not going to lie to you, it cut deep. We will not lose 3 straight. We have had the better team the last two years, and still do this year. The difference is that we will not trip up again. Mountaineer Field should be rocking when Pitt comes to town...that's a plus. We became a bit indifferent towards your boys until the last couple of seasons. It's nice to have the fire back in the rivalry...and EAT SHIT PITT! I like you though Doc...I don't hold it against you that you are a fan of such a hideous institution. :P

As much as it made me want to puke, I rooted for Florida when Brett Nelson played basketball there...coincidentally that's also when I was convinced that Donovan is a subpar coach. I know he won two championships and that does mean something, but I just don't think his players get better. He is without a doubt one of the best recruiters in college basketball, but I just don't think he's a good coach. From my view, Nelson was better as a freshman than a senior, which is wrong. Some of it has to fall on Brett, but the coach takes blame there as well. I used to laugh when watching Florida play UK with some of my Wildcat buddies. Anytime Florida took a timeout and Donovan was drawing up a play, they had the utmost confidence that is would fail. And before the Championship run, it usually did. Cue Fiesty lengthy retort and insults
