NDL to Real Life..

When you play as a team in the NDL tht isn't your favorite, do you ever start cheering for them in real life?

I have cheered for teams I have played with in leagues. Mostly if I have played with teams in the major conferences, just because you have more TV access to teams that are in the major conferences.I play with Wyoming right now so I don't believe I will be cheering them on as much as I would if I were playing with a team like Florida or Georgia unless they are Big 12 or playing against my Buffs!

Not I. I have played with UAB, Toledo and Cincy in the 16 seasons I've been here. I never rooted for UAB cuz they were in C-USA with Cincy back in the day. Always rooted for Toledo my entire life and then for Cincy once I started college there.

Rutgers and Oregon St both. It was cool, i remember cheering for Oregon State like a mad man when they played USC last year. (well maybe that was cause i bet on oregon st)

I agree, although I wasn't aware that Miami fans cared about Pitt. My sister in-law got a onesie for her future child with "Poop on Pitt" on the front. I prefer the original:

I have for many of the teams. Kansas is the most prominent one that comes to mind.

I kind of took a liking to Clemson after I used them, I think their atmosphere is awesome.

I also broke a cardinal rule and took a team I hate in real life....Cal. I would never pick UCLA or Notre Dame...EVER, if they were the last two teams available in the draft and I had to choose..... I would ask to be moved to the farm.

i've always tried to go after teams i like or somewhat like and Clemson has been a great place because I could actually win there because they fit my style so that was nice

Of the teams Ive used besides CSU ( my real life favorite team along Michigan) I like Iowa State the one year they were good a few years back. Besides that Wisky can eat shit along with Cal and OU.


The one team I've grown to like after using them in the NDL for a good chunk of seasons is WVU. Man, I wish I had continued my dynasty.That is my biggest NDL mistake. I should have stayed.
