Celebrating into endzone on touchdowns

I guess it all depends. You say they do it in "real" life but keep in mind you are playing against one person and it could be like taunting. Just saying.....personally, when I do score my guy just stands there, cause I am too busy giving high fives to my daughters, doing the chest pump or poppin my collar

i don't celebrate when i score, i celebrate when i make a stop on defense

the first time i stopped someone this season i jumped up and down and scared my dog, the only other time i stopped someone i made the sign of the cross and just took a knee

The gf got to see me in all my geekiness in my bowl game. Louisville vs Miami and i concede th lost before the game starts but then it actually gets close and i start coming back.

I started doing the Kellen Winslow "I'm a soldier" as I chest slap of myself.

I'd love to hear from those who don't like it as to why they'd dock points for it.

I think it might just be heat of the battle and way of blowing off steam (we all do it). I need to pay more attention to circumstances when I decide to do this.

Hey I think its a cool thing of college football. The athletes aren't paid to play, they are playing for their school and program, and they are proud of it. So I believe a little celebration is cool, and fun to see. Especially after a huge TD or big game changing play. I can only see the crowd going wild while 4 or 5 teammates smack the guy who scored on the helmet and letting out a huge scream. I mean if your up 20 in the 4th theres no reason for it. But that is just my two cents on the issue.

I dont have a problem with end zone celebrations.. but I didnt know you could still celebrate on the way to the end zone. I thought they removed it .. cause I have yet to see any high stepping or anything into the end zone.

I like to watch the celebrations for the other teams. It's interesting to see guys celebrating with the mascots. Nebraska has about 4 or 5 different animations with the mascot, the first one is stupid. Herbie is pealing the football and eating it like corn on the cob, then he goes into a kick routine where he kicks over the player and then tries to sweep his feet out and then pats him on the back, then there is the one where he and the player are mimicking each other and the heisman pose is just great.

If you play me go ahead and do it on each TD, I dont care if you are up by 20. But when you do it celebrate with your mascot I think they are funny.

I could see sometimes why someone thinks they might be "rubbing it in", especially when your getting blown out. But if you go as far as docking a coaches report for celebrating, that is going way too far. You shouldn't dock for things that aren't against the rules.

Yeah that is alarming.. no one should be docked for that .. just another person is overly critical, and looking reasons to dock someone.. Sad I think.

Barry Sanders always used to say "act like you've been there before" and eschewed celebrations. I have a different thing going on in Buffalo; my guys act like they have never seen this wonderful "end zone" place and proceed to just stare off into the distance.

Hold down O when your in the clear and heading towards the endzone 10 or closer.. Thats the only one I know..Highstepping I think...Ive done it a few times in league especially on big plays. Really dont understand why someone would dock you for it, but might not do it anymore. Some people are WAY to serious and WAY to into telling other people how they should play...
