Celebrating into endzone on touchdowns
Celebrating into endzone on touchdowns
In no way am I trying to start a argument or pick a fight. I just wanna get an idea of the league's feelings on this. I'm not gonna lie I did it this season on some of my Touchdowns, which I noticed cost me some points in coaching reports (which is understandable I guess and I expected).
Anyways, what do you all think of doing this? Is it disrespectful? Unsportsmanlike?
The way I look at it is its done all the time in real life, and it is just in pure fun. Nothing is directed at the owner or attempted to disrespect them.
Is this frowned upon or not much of a issue? Should I not do it anymore for the sake of my coaching reports next season (it was only 1 or 2 comments in no way am I angry)? I'm guessing it falls in under sportsmanship and respecting the opponent.

I actually like it when people celebrate cuz you're right it happen all the time in real life. Over doing it when blowing out somebody crosses the line (I regularly get blown out). It actually offends me more when people just stop and stand there after a TD. Who stands there after a TD?
If you want to play me in season 17, we can see who can do the best celebrations!

I wouldn't do it in a league game unless I really knew the person. In a scrim is a different story.

Re: Celebrating into endzone on touchdowns
if i know the person i'm playing i'll do backflips, pause the game, pull the cord, dance around my apartment, start hopping on one foot while singing from the other room all while still playing the game but if i didnt know the guy well enough, i wouldn't do it... more to prevent unneccesary headaches then because i thought it was an issue

Re: Celebrating into endzone on touchdowns
I never remember what to press while running into the endzone... I'm so terrified I'll accidently hit the wrong button and pitch it or dive.
It's just easier just to do a "Team Celebration" afterwards.

I'm with AJ....if you get out far enough to do it, then go for it.
And if you do the mascot celebration with one of the cooler mascots (like Notre Dame or Texas), then hell....it'll make me feel better about giving up the score

Celebrate all you want after you score on me.
This game is for fun and I think the celebrations can be fun, especially the mascot ones.
Dont care if its a score to go up 35-0.
Just my take of course

I just hit X and get on with it. if you like the celebrations you won't see any from me. unless there is a special button or code for the chad ocho cinco river dance. that is still my favorite .

theres a fun lil glitch this yr. if u hit triangle as ure running up to hurdle, keep pressing it and ur dude was keep hurdling right through the crowd and won't stop until u let go. fuckin fun sometimes. i did it to my buddy online, he wasn't pleased lol
Re: Celebrating into endzone on touchdowns
Did someone really dock you for celebrating?
......unless you were up huge and high stepped that bitch in the end-zone, no need to dig the knife any deeper, lol.

Re: Celebrating into endzone on touchdowns
agree with what has been posted.
if i dont know the person...i wouldnt do it.
I actually accidentily did it in a game this season and publicly apologized to my opponent on LD as well as on aim after the game.
That being said...I also hope to get a good team this season...If I'm some A team playing a b or C team...i'd hold off on the celebrating...
