Fauci said if his projections ended up being correct, it would be comparable to a severe flu.
Did you make the mistake of me saying this and took it to mean that Dr Fauci 100% said this is absolutely going to happen no matter what?
It's ok for you to say yes, that's the mistake you made.

Multiple mega churches have stayed upon defying orders from governors and federal social distancing guidelines during all of this.
Here is a quote from one of the leaders of a church that has stayed open
We brought in 13 machines that basically kill every virus in the place," Howard-Browne said. "If they sneeze it shoots it down like at 100 miles per hour and it will neutralize it in a split second."
Aaaaaaaaand they just issued an arrest warrant for him.

Not worried, it'll all blow over, and he'll be released just as soon as he explains the 100mph sneeze neutralizer machines.

There's a Congressional report from 2005 on the avian flu and one of the findings were that we were not prepared for a pandemic virus that could affect the lungs due to not having enough ventilators. 15 years later, we never addressed that issue.
One thing that I'm not sure of, I'm sure many of you have seen the graphs of total deaths in the US(all deaths) by week, and how these past couple of weeks have seen the lowest amount of total deaths in years. That obviously makes sense as everything is shutdown and everyone is basically staying home for the most part.
Similarly, I saw something that noted NYC's total death count this past week was the lowest it's been for all of 2020 and all of 2019 on a week by week basis. Now obviously not every death results in a hospital visit or going on a ventilator, but logic would dictate there's probably correlation there. So if NYC is seeing a lower total death count per week than they've seen in quite a while, why are they running out of ventilators?

A co-worker was diagnosed with the Coronavirus.
Luckily for the rest of our office, she is a remote employee. She works about 30 minutes from our office where she lives and visits a local school there on a regular basis.
And a guy from the school she helps almost died with the Coronavirus.
Nic was at a vendor fair that my company puts on, about a month ago.
Here is a video of his situation:
That appears to be a bad link, i assume that's why it's not working.
Clicking on it doesn't bring up a video, it says that page isn't available.
I tried the YouTube button with the link JD provided as Welland nothing

it was because it is a bad link. I somehow grabbed the link to share it and not just the URL. I updated my post with it.

Listen everyone, the important thing is that the ratings are so huge for Trump on TV. Bigger than The Bachelor. Bigger than MNF. No one thought they could be this huge and he's proving everyone wrong. We need to stop talking about everything but the ratings. Focus on the ratings. So much winning.

Michigan, particularly the east side surrounding Detroit, is getting crushed.
Interesting tidbit from the ICU/ER docs over talked with: once a patient gets passed on the vent, seems to be 50/50 mortality. Obviously anecdotal, but impressively poor outcomes.
