This is very subjective from every single coach here.

According to your "play the game correctly" only 2 people in the league do so, you and who know who else.

I don't think that automatically means rules are being broken.

Play the pass isn't against the rules.
stop.

neither is running the play clock down to 1 on every play or running playactions or diagonal line drive punting but we all know that these things aren't part of normal gameplay of straight players.
I hate this the most. Whats wrong with playactions? I think I have run like 5 of them all last season but just wondering what is wrong with them?
nothing, daves a bore.

I have only had success with it when the user is playing the safety, otherwise it normally ends up in a sack.

There are about six that play a delightful game (to me, obviously) and I have to start considering just scheduling them all the time. Again, this ain't sour grapes, just an honest realization.

But ... I still propose we change that word on the coaching reports form.

Hear, hear!

Why do you think I ran it today and then scored the first TD?

Moderation.

I'm not a rules nazi like some. If a guy runs a couple of PAs and a couple of play the passes on me, the thought of docking him even 1 point would never cross my mind.

Now running the playclock down, again not against rules, but that is my least favorite thing that people do.

Says the man that wants to schedule a D team. Please. I "suck" because I am stuck using an awful team (by choice) and I refuse to cowtow to the NDL way of just running two nominal plays that won't screw me up too much and then skinny post. I'd go bowl every year if I did the latter and I'd be Top 10 every season if I could suck it up and take a better team.
you sound like nick when he tells everyone how funny he is and that he'd be a millionaire if he 'cared enough' to be a stand up comic cause people tell him how funny he is in 'real life'.

i watched the game... you're living in a fantasy world.

and before someone says 'you're sticking up for corey cause he's your boy' ... i don't even like corey.
Good thing I wanna be a conf commish so I'm holding restraint. Ohhhhh myyy godddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd

For the record, the funniest thing Dave has done on these boards is funnier than all the funny stuff you've ever done combined...and that's not a knock on you, it was just that funny.

I figure it has come up once or twice considering his desire and contributions to the league. I am sure there were a handful of laughs and insults before Page 1 even turned over.

Someone mentioned the diagonal line drive punt. I believe it's punt return safe that is basically like a spread out 4-3 with the safeties/your return men being 30-40 yards off the LOS. Negates this tactic cause I was seeing it so often I had to discover a counter to it.

Doesn't that tactic just punt the ball out of bounds?

Am I thinking of something different?

Thanks for the tip. I've been seeing this punt more and more online. Good to know there is a way to combat it.
