And then turn around and get bases loaded themselves and score runs. That's a difference maker...

Teams that hit the ball usually beat teams that don't. Just the way the game works...

what if the other team gets walked a lot and then steals bases and then players hit sac flies?

UK's game started around 230.
It's 638 and we're in the 5th inning....in our third or fourth rain delay of the game. Our starting pitcher recorded one out, allowed three runs, and was lifted due to the long delay.
Down 6-4 right now, NCAA rules dictate the game MUST be finished today, so.....yay.

Jackson State just pulled off one of the biggest upsets in regional history, knocking off national No. 6 seed Louisiana-Lafayette, 1-0. With Mississippi State and San Diego State also in this regional, the Ragin' Cajuns may be in trouble.

Canes win on walkoff wild pitch in the bottom of the 9th.
All set up by a right fielder botching a single and allowing the runner on first to get to 3rd. 2 pitches later, wild pitch.

Our manager held AJ Reed back for today for a possible showdown w Louisville. We lost yesterday but w all the rain delays, it was the best decision he could've made as now we have Reed on the mound for an elimination game.
Unfortunately it's vs Kent State.....who we played in Gary two years ago and lost the first game of the regional in 21 innings, and then lost to them by one run in the final game of the regional. Ugh.
The Florida State-Alabama game should be a great one today.
