NCAA 2011 Wishlist!

Since we have another thread where some guys are saying what they don't like about the current game...

Post what you would like to see in NCAA 2011.

What would make the game ideal in your opinion?

-no more "strategy"
-ability to select stadiums added back
-slightly improved defensive AI. I say slightly because the folks at EA tend to go to extremes when tweaking the AI.
-ability to use password protected rooms online and still be able to connect with your opponent

- take away the ability for one defensive player (user controlled) to cover multiple recievers
- zero strategy

realistic defensive AI/ speed/acceleration. Having a manually controlled safety who can guess wrong on a pass play or a run play but still make up the necessary ground to get in to a play is getting old. The CPU is either super human or super stupid.


Better down field blocking cpu on cpu. If you have 3 guys in front taking only one defender then I shouldnt get tackled by that guy.

I agree with everyone else. I would also say:

- better punt and kickoff coverage (i don't expect 20 yard punt returns everytime, but getting less than 5 yards all the time...sucks. As far as kickoffs, try to eliminate the "glitch" that allows for people to run to the left or right where there are 3 blockers and spin around them to get up the field.)
- I would like to see some better defensive coverage as well. If you call man, have the guys actually line up in front of the person they are to cover. And if in zone, actually stand where the play call screen says you will be. Meaning don't leave the short crossing routes so open.
- And do something with kicking FGs

I agree with most. The ability for the defense to "react" to a certain style of offense would be nice. If someone is going to dump it all game to the rb's or slants.....it'd be nice if the defense would react to that without having to bunch your defenders short so they can then lob it deep.

Also, agree that it would be nice if it wasn't possible for one user controlled defender to cover 3 guys. I appreciate the user skills to be able to do that and in no way can dock someone for being able to pull it off. But in no way is that realistic.

-defense was so dominant on '09 but was absolutely garbage on '10. Let's find a middle ground

i like the "user" points you are awarded, but limit the strategy stuff

get rid of the aggressive stuff, i hate it when I am playing and i fumble out of no where because someone has turned up the increased strips... you can still complete passes against the "play pass", but not much you can do when the CPU has determined you are going to fumble next time you are tackled...

Smarter offensive linemen!!!!

I'm so sick of watching the weak-side tackle allow the DE to go right around him, especially on a line slant.

I'm sick of seeing 3 men rushes get pressure against a 5 man line, with two or three of the OL standing around looking like they're practicing being a mime in a glass box.

Also tired of defenders in zone knowing when there's a guy behind them, where there's also a guy right in front of them, without ever turning to look. They simply keep their eyes on the QB and never once move out of place, and always are ready to cover a guy behind them. In real life, they'd have to turn to see, or the QB would move the zone with his eyes, but it doesn't happen.

Besides the already mentioned stadium sleect which I have wanted back forever, I would also say the FG thing. I dont mind the distances but bring the meter back and the further away the smaller the sweet spot on the meter or something.

Better pass defense...better blocking.....and revamped and reworked playbooks(this is big)


Kicking Game solution---Just make the accuracy area a LOT smaller...so that kicks hook and fade more often(problem with the meter is that you get weak kicks thats not realistic..).. Make that shit accuracy area tiny and kicking would be ok.....as long as they tone down the length a bit.
