Connecticut:
RB Jordan Todman DE Greg Lloyd LB Scott Lutrus
these are a very good possibility but thinking that Lutrus will go from being a 56 rated player in the game as a sophomore (after he made freshman all american team) to being an impact player is assuming that EA will have a clue... i doubt it

my guess for UConn is

qb - Frazer (way overrated in the game, he's decent but had a high 80s ranking last yr)
rb - Todman
lb - Wilson

I am fairly confident they will go with two on defense for Nebraska. I'd guess Helu, Amukamara, Crick.

Very well done, though. Would read again! ++++

yeah Prince looks like an impact player but Paul just irks impact on special teams as well. Prince will probably be the impact but Paul will be a fast mofo!

Boise St:
QB Kellen Moore RB Jeremy Avery CB Brandyn Thompson

Look for it to be WR Austin Pettis over Avery

Texas:
WR Malcolm Williams DE Sam Acho FS Blake Gideon
very possible.....but I bet Soph QB Garrett Gilbbert picks up one of those spots since the offense will only be as good as he is this season.

I used Athlon's to see the starting lineups, looked at their stats and just made some guesses. Some were no-brainers but a few two were locks and than a toss up. Michigan was really hard cause I doubt either QB will be impact cause who knows who really starts? Roundtree really had a breakout second half season although Odoms maybe better. Kovacs was a reach but he was a tackling machine. Boise St had soooooooooooo many freakin weapons that it is actually unfair. Pettis is an impact player for sure but went with Avery cause he was a RB. Push goes to the RB, like in fantasy.

Texas was extremely difficult cause they lost any meaningful player on offense. Acho is a STUD not many people know cause of Kindle. Gideon has been there like forever. Texas has questions at RB with unproven Newton and Fozzy Bear. Gilbert showed signs but I doubt he gets an impact with his limited play. Yes Texas reloads but man, this team lost alot. The Red River will be a classic this season!

I'm not arguing with you or anything, but how on earth did you pick Tulane's impact players?

i'd agree with Martin and Roundtree, but the 3rd could be any number of people.

Forcier - awesome start to the year then got hurt so you never know
Robinson - should be like 94 speed and is a human highlight reel
Odoms - solid WR since he's stepped on campus, gets hurt alot though
Craig Roh - awesome as a frosh starting on that D.

who knows, they might even have darryl stonum as the third because hes the biggest deep threat Mich has.
I like Robinson here for the third impact player, the QB race is so close right now, you just never know...

I'd have to say that is correct.

Ras-I is the #1 CB in college and a certain 1st rounder. He has great size at 6-2/200. At this point, all he can do is slip in the draft so he needs to fine-tune his game. He relies a little heavy on his athleticism at times instead of playing the WR. This is much more noticeable against a very good route running WR.

Cam Johnson has a world of potential but he's going to have to adjust to having his hand on the ground. He's stepping down from a 34 OLB to a 43 DE. He also needs to finish better as he was in on the QB a lot last season and left a lot of sacks on the table with missed tackles.

Tim Smith is the best WR prospect UVA has landed in some time. He's out of Oscar Smith High School which is VA's premier HS program. Unfortunately for Smith, his ability to be an impact player hinges on having a QB that can get him the ball. UVA has been dreadful at QB for a number of seasons.

QB Ryan Griffin is the only returning starter on offense not on the OL. I gave it to him by default. S Alex Wacha is the leader in tackles returning. The other S Shankiel Smith was a random guess due to he has a cool name.

So Tulane's offense might actually be worse than the D they got last year?

I think Marcel Dareus will be on Defense for the Tide. Barron has the numbers but Dareus has the hype. Already a top 10 pick from both Kiper and and his illegitimate son. Ingram and Julio sound right.

I would not be suprised if Garret Gilbert was an Impact player for Texas
since he has National Hype. EA will see this and assume he will be great this year
so they will give him the dreaded Star on the game

I this Ponder and Reid are spot on, but not sure about the 3rd. Perhaps Bert Reed over Bradham.
