NDL Championship game is at half: An instant classic so far

Veni took the ball 1st, hit a deep pass, and got a FG.

Then USC scored on a 70 yard TD pass to Turner, 7-3.

Clemson came back with a LONG WR screen TD, 70 yards, 10-3 Clemson.

Then USc scored, CLemson scored, then USC scored.

The theme here is no defense whatsoever.

VVV hit a FG with 1 minute left in the half to make it 21-20, then the 1st screw up, Corey threw an INT, and VVV got a FG before the half.

HALFTIME 23-21, CLEMSON LEADS


2nd half, USC takes the kickoff, and Sanchez gets his 3rd TD pass of the day.

Currently, 28-23 USC. VVV just took the kick and has the ball, early 3rd quarter.

Clemson stopped USC on 3rd and goal from teh 1, USC kicks the FG to tie it up at 38-38 with 2 minutes left.

VVV drives down, kicks a FG with :12 left. 41-38.

No time left for USC.

One of the best games I have ever played in any league,any version, any whatever.

Back and forth action, great calls, great playmakers on both sides.

I regret going for the field goal on 4th and 1 but at that moment I thought about tying it up and HOPING my 99 rated D could make a play that they hadnt all day. Veni did a great job with clock management, getting the ball into FG range and kicking the 53 yard winner.

Congrats to Veni who deserves a ton of credit in one of the most under rated and quietest GREAT seasons in NDL history running the table. Taking out Cup winners, former NDL championship game attendees, and winning the whole thing.
