Hey guys,
My cpu after months of keeping it alive, finally kicked the bucket for good. The system board finally overheated and died..
And I ll probably be out of my own cpu for a while... and using the wife laptop to hop on boards and check things out and stuff.
The spotlights will be suspended till next week.. which I ll probably only be able to get one out, then following I ll get 2 out again.
I m awaiting for a case to turn my hd into an external one, where I have all my presaved images and I don't have to save to the laptop. . So once that arrives I ll get those out again.
My schedule for playing games remains the same, but this now means that I wont have aim on as much as in the past, so I ll need to set specific times for games again in the scheduling thread.. thx.
CPU down

If you don't mind me asking; what the fuck do you have under the hood that it overheated?6ftdeep wrote:Hey guys,

Re: CPU down
not sure about him, but my laptop runs hot to the point that it is hot to the touch. then again I am using a lap top that is probably 5 years old or so and it has very poor fan help.trendon wrote:If you don't mind me asking; what the fuck do you have under the hood that it overheated?
but then for $50 when a company is trying to dump its old equipment, huge deal for me
Re: CPU down
nothing special.. I just made the mistake of not buying enough fans to keep the system cooled enough .. and over time with me running all the crap in my cpu the system board just got way to hot where the dual video cards and sound card and stuff was install.. and fried there...

Re: CPU down
Well, there ya go. I needed to buy a fucking extra internal fan AND an external fan for my desktop because I was running SLI wwith two GeForce 9600's and an internal SB Audigy and I could feel the heat coming through the computer desk!6ftdeep wrote:dual video cards and sound card and stuff was install.. and fried there...
