Re: Cnasty Help Video
Thats my problem.
I get the jump on a ton of people but I am to busy firing up the wall and totally missing them. Or I get to excited that I actually snuck up on someone versus them on me and I get all crazy and miss em by like a mile.

Re: Cnasty Help Video
Just some random thoughts........
You left A in the beginning before you got the flag.
You don't get points for stabbing the wall or shooting at your own teammates.
Now for the real stuff...
Your map awareness needs to improve. You are moving around the map with no purpose. You just start in an area and you don't know where to go. In Dom, you want to control 2 flags and let the other team come to you. You should know the most likely paths that they will use and be setup there. You're just aimlessly walking around and you're not quick enough to beat anybody in a random gun battle yet. So, you're putting yourself at a disadvantage.
Go to B, look at the map. Look at where the other team's flag is at and assume they are spawning there. Setup somewhere with cover that can watch a main path from the other team's flag to B. It's ok to camp, Dom is about controlling territory and is not a TDM.
Cook your grenades more. Hold them in our hand for a few seconds and then throw them. They are on a timer so you want them to blow up as soon as they hit the ground. Not roll around and give the enemy time to run off.
Your movement is robotic. A lot of that is not knowing where the other team is coming from. All maps have choke points. Watch the flow of traffic and you will figure out areas that are the most congested.
It would probably help you to see how somebody else plays the same map on Dom. If anybody has a good game in their recent list, I'll record it up. If not, I will get one soon.

Re: Cnasty Help Video
I have found that the quick reload and ghost perk helped some while still adjusting to the game. It gives you the advantage of not showing up on the radar and you will be able to sneak all the way up on them and knife kill. The quick reload will allow you to get more shots off and not have to go hide while you reload, as it takes about a quarter of the time to reload.
I have no clue which perks you have on in this video, but that is something that helped me and could be useful based on the way you were running around.

Re: Cnasty Help Video
in the beginning, like Hoos said, you left before you had "A"
then you were sorta waiting for that guy to come out of the door. thats ok, but you werent really "behind" anything like i think you thought your were.
instead of watching the door in that particular spot, run around the corner to the right and there is a box you can stand behond and watch the steps, you can watch to your left (where you are standing in the vid), and you can watch under the steps where guys run from 'C" flag. plus anyone who comes out of that door zand around the corner you can get the drop on and they will have a smaller target to shoot at since you're only 1/2 exposed since the box is covering you.
little things like that
i didnt get past the 1st fifteen seconds and thats something

Re: Cnasty Help Video
Thanks guys for the feedback.
The perks I have I think are all the same:
Marathon
Hardened/steady aim
and then the one where you run faster or something?
I have the red dot on all guns as I love that.
I need more tips on aiming, when to scope and when not to and how to improve there. I think if I improve there I will get a lot better. I guess that comes with playing more though.

This I know is a major weakness. I just play a map and run around it, I dont think let me see where they might come from and strategize from there. Some maps all look the same to me so I have no clue. I was getting an idea on the jungle one near C as I did better there last night but most maps Im looking for them and you are saying I should let them look for me since I suck?Your map awareness needs to improve. this is always the #1, always
once you learn maps, you know where guys like to "camp" or always go and you can be looking for them there

Re: Cnasty Help Video
the mini map has the actual map on it, use it.Cnasty wrote:Thanks guys for the feedback.

Re: Cnasty Help Video
Yea, thats a major flaw. I usually just play and go get flags when necessary and defend as well. Im not good at hunting guys down so I am the "flag securer" of the team and thats my best contribution.ajalves wrote:DRiccio21 wrote:you dont really know the map

I also think Im looking at the red dots way to much on the radar and running to the gun fight instead of letting them come to me or my flag.
Re: Cnasty Help Video
what does steady aim even do? is it just for shooting from the hip?
i never shoot from the hip so i got rid of it
i use ninja, hardline and warlord i think

Yea I think its from the hip shooting. I was told I need to do that more because I was scoping EVERY shot and getting destroyed.DRiccio21 wrote:what does steady aim even do? is it just for shooting from the hip?

Re: Cnasty Help Video
another thing I noticed, that as soon as you see someone, you stop moving and start shooting. Try to strafe as you shoot, so that you are not giving the other guy a stationary target to shoot at.
