Are We Having Four Seasons?

I ask because, and correct if I am wrong, but aren't we way ahead of schedule? I mean, shit, we'll be in our final week during Thanksgiving. I know people get bored but I don't want to go 120-150 days without a league game.

I would rather see some farm coaches come in to replace dead teams, have a week or 2 extra to finish out the season so we can complete it and then go on. If we do this we will finish up the season around the new years, get the next one done around march, at which point everyone will be burnt out on the game and need 3 months to regroup. before we all start talking about the next game.

not a fan of this idea at all.. I would rather finish this season out on the pace we are and have a break in between season 2 and 3.. not draw out the current season.. I m against any idea that draws out or extends the time line of a season in progress

If you wanted to have only three seasons maybe have all of december and first week on jan off then start back up since people are going out of town and family or whatever. Then that would be a little less time at the start of the third season, but at this rate that we are in we could do 4 seasons.

Strategically I think we're ahead of schedule b/c AJ & company anticipated the new COD would be consuming a lot of their time beginning in the holidays

But in all honesty, it does seem apparent we are way ahead of schedule. If not a 4th NDL season, maybe we can rally behind Ladder Matches or bring back those NDL War Games I use to hear about. Could be a fun way to pass the time in this longer offseason

Saying we are "WAY" ahead of schedule is wierd to me since I was running it last year too and basically copied my schedule from last year.

College football is done in January and once the real football season ends, interest will drop fairly quickly after that. Getting through the 3rd season will be plenty difficult i'm sure. I'm always up for something to bridge the gap, because this is the only game I play really.

for us die ncaa die hards we'll get some stuff going in the offseason

i think part of the failure of ndl:l is running hwile regular ndl is going...possibly it should only be run in offseason...also..it may be alittle TOO aggresive....maybe open 3 weeks at a time instead of 6

anyway, I KNOW there's some format which is going to the off season winner but we havent come across it yet

there will be at least 1-2 diff formats though we'll try and have fun doing so

I think we picked up a week or two per season when we went from people calculating points emails and sending them out to going to the automated system.

1-2 weeks x 3 seasons is 3-6 weeks total time made up (up to extra 1.5 months)
