Next NDL Head Commish Announcement

One of the greatest thing we've been fortunate to have in keeping NDL successful is great leadership.

From Jmo to Nolie to Mike to AJ, the peaceful "transition of power" lol if we must label it, has gone off pretty much without a hitch and the league always continues full speed ahead.

As most of you can guess it takes A FUCKING SHITLOAD OF TIME AND PATIENCE to run this league. It really to some degree becomes a HUGE part of your life where even when you're not on the internet and out there IRL, you're still thinking of the league and what you can do to keep it great or make it better and it takes ALOT out of you.

It's extremely tough to balance the ideas of 120 DIFFERENT guys, hear them then try to make the best decisions you can for the collective good of all involved....then have to deal with understandable non-positive reaction from those on the opposite side of the decision(s) thats made.

Hopefully as everyone knows, even if you dont agree with a decision, you do know that all 4 former commishes make the decision they really think is best for the league.

As we stated before, one of the best foresights by Jeff is that NDL unfortunately simply can not be a democracy. Things move to fast to always vote and sometimes the collective majority thought isnt always the "right" thing for the league as a whole.

That being said as you know, the HEAD commish does have absolute power and final authority on all matters related to NDL.

As such it is EXTREMELY important that we always have someone who again, makes the best choices they can for the league and is a strong and effective leader. We have been fortunate to have that so far and are good fortune continues as we have undoubtedly found another.

Effective after season 21's end, Buckeye76 (Matt), will be our new head commish.

A HUGE thanks goes to AJ for the last 2 years for all the hard work he has put in. He will remain in an admin roll replacing Nole as the behind the scenes #2 along with Mike and Nole will replace Buckeye as a conference commish.

Buckeye was selected prior to season 18 and has been actively involved behind the scenes with EVERYTHING and will be able to hit the ground running in season 22.

As most of you know his reputation in the league is absolutely exemplary and as a conf commish, his leadership skills have been unquestioned. We are absoutelty grateful that he has accepted this time commitment and look forward to the upcoming season.

Matt is an excellent choice and I'm certain that he too will do the fantastic job that all prior commishes have done.

Thanks once again to all the guys that keep this ship floating on smooth waters, and also a great big thanks to all of the coaches that continue to be a part of this great league. I personally think is says alot that a good majority of the guys in here continue to play season after season with bottom tier teams with no really no hope of having that "great" season or top tier team, but instead they do it for the fun and the comradery that this league brings.

Great job guys and I really not sure how you keep up with family life,work and such. Also the second guessing is tough to deal with. You can tell the people that have never had to deal with it because they bark the loudest.
