My oldest daughter just turned 11. Her mom had a little party with just family members, me excluded

This past Saturday, I told her invite some friends for a day of fun! There were 7 girls that showed up at 10am to rollerskate. Afterwhich, they got in two cars(another parent helped) and we went to Adventure Crossing, a amusement type place. I purchased 7 passes for one hour of all they can ride and go-kart and a 30 minute session of Lasertag. Than I took them all out to eat at Golden Corral, a buffett all you can eat. I felt it was worth the money to do more than just the normal one party. I spent well over $200 but the smile on my daughter's face was priceless. I did the one place party but wanted to do something different. They all enjoyed going from place to place.
What kind of parties have any of you done for your kids?
