Win Goal Change Recommendation
Win Goal Change Recommendation
Simple, but I think it accomplishes a great deal.
re: The point for road wins
For BCS & Independent teams: keep it the same.
For non-BCS teams: scratch the one point for a road win and change it into two points for beating a BCS team on the road.
My reasoning is that road games against the smaller schools don't mean shit but if Toledo walks into any BCS school's house (even teams like Vanderbilt), it is huge. The reason for the double amount of points is that you will often play five or six road games a year while you might only play two road non-conference games a year.
Thoughts?

Agree. I like this idea.
New Rule: Stop calling disasters with a single survivor a "miracle." When 103 people die, but one lives, that's not a miracle. That's God blowing a no-hitter in the bottom of the ninth. - Bill Maher

on this, I think BCS teams shouldnt get a point forbeating a non BCS. Texas coming to Kent State and winning (merely an example) is not a difficulty lol. He shouldn't get a point for thrashing me.
Re: Win Goal Change Recommendation
So u want to reduce it for bcs teams? It's already 2
Re: Win Goal Change Recommendation
Oh, then keep it at two. Thought it was one. I just don't see any advantage to playing at home with the smaller schools.bearass wrote:So u want to reduce it for bcs teams? It's already 2

Indiana going anywhere and winning is an accomplishment. Next year I'll be rated lower than 50-60% of the non BCS teams.nick wrote:on this, I think BCS teams shouldnt get a point forbeating a non BCS. That bonus is all part of scheduling strategy. When I was I navy I played 11 away games because I was locked with air force at home. The after a four win season I was high enough to draft OU again.
