Nope, its always been done like this. I personally don't vote until after the CC games close.

I put a message out to Holmey, I can see everything fine. But Mark just tried and cant either.

Once the time frame to submit votes has passed, it will go back to the "CLOSED" while the final BCS etc are tabulated. Last season, people were able to determine the BCS matchups based on the rankings shown in the stats section. By closing the media section just while that is done, it allows for the bowl selection chat to release the final standings.

In that case is there any way to look at standings? Or are we at the mercy of the voting aid?
