Schedule

As always, the games will be done on a daily basis with the latest deadline being 10PM. However, as soon as all playoff teams have a file in, we will fire off a sim. Rounds are done in two parts (four games and then three games) until the NDLB Series, which is done according to the wishes of the two competitors. With that, playoffs begin as soon as you receive the email.

So I notice we now literally have a "Playoff Roster" entry on the transactions page.

Do we also need to pair down the active roster, or will that happen automatically? What happens to the guys on the active roster that are not on the playoff roster? Do they go to AAA or just limbo (because I probably have a ML player that will refuse the AAA assignment)?

I am pretty sure you have to pare down the active roster to 25. If you are adding a player to the playoff roster that is not currently eligible - to replace a guy that went on the DL (see rules in the bottom right pane) - you cannot drag him; you have to right-click him.

I do not know what the guy on the active roster not on playoff roster will do.

Ok. It seems odd we have the "playoff roster" option but also have to get the active roster down to 25.

I had to waive/DFA the guy. Not too happy about that as I'm somewhat guessing he could just be deactivated for the playoffs without being optioned down, but I couldn't get him off the active roster any other way.

We might have to look into playoff rosters for next season. It seems a bit much. It may be suitable for me to simply keep an eye on you not replacing guys in the middle of the series.
