Coach chuskerpride came in to Purdue last season and had what is considered a successful one with a 5-7 record.
They were only 1 game away from making a potential bowl bid.
Coach Niddler comes in to replace him and gives us some honest feeback regarding his expectations of the upcoming season.
Week 1: at Washington - GeorgesGoons
We wanted to start the season off with an OOC game against one of the most straight up coaches I know in George. A good team and good coach. They struggled last season going 5-7 and Coach Niddler hopes they will struggle in this game and the Boilermakers can pull out the upset.
Week 2: Bye Week
Week 3: vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish- wj5811. The first of our rivalry games. He is a great coach, with a good team and knows them well. They finished the season ranked #5 in the Nation last year. We do not stand a chance in this one!
Week 4: at Wisconsin Badgers - plasma
This is a very good matchup. The Badgers have the edge being rated a B+ team and coach plasma and I have had some good games in the past. This one really could go either way. I think that the Badgers offense will have too much for the Boilermakers Defense, but we will see Week 4.
Week 5: at Miami (FL) - sammy33
Another game against a good coach with a good team.
While ThaU did not finish last year ranked in the top 25, they are definitely a top 25 caliber team with an A- Rating. We expect to lose this game.
Week 6: Bye Week
Week 7: vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers - bigred
A good coach and a pretty good team. They are rated slightly better than us, which means we hope to keep this one close, but in reality, we see the Cornhuskers proving to be too much for the Boilermakers this season.
Week 8: at Michigan State Spartans - weasel
Another matchup against a good team and a good coach. They finished last season ranked #16 in the Nation.
We expect to lose this game.
Week 9: at Arkansas - Twistanutz22
A good team and a good coach means we will lose this one by a big margin. They finished last season ranked #6 in the Nation! We expect to lose this one.
Week 10: vs. Ohio State Buckeyes - talented3
It is going to feel so bad beating up on my Buckeyes! Who the hell am I kidding. The Buckeyes are way too good in this game for the Boilermakers to compete. We expect to get stomped by a good coach and a great team!
Week 11: vs. Iowa Hawkeyes - wittness10
Coach wittness comes in to a Hawkeye team that went 4-8 last season. They have a slightly better rating than we do this season. These teams matchup well and this one should be a good game and I see it coming down to the 4th quarter.
Week 12: at Penn State Nittany Lions - doc1424
What can you say about Coach doc, except he exudes class! He went 9-5 with Eastern Michigan last season. Both of these teams are rated an 84-B and we look for this game to be a dog fight! This one can and will go either way and will take 4 quarters to be decided.
Week 13: vs. Illinois Fighting Illini - brwnbear
I don't know much about brwnbear except that he has 2 alter ego's actually.
1 brwndick (The draft room last night) and 2 blackbear (OOTP)
He has went 4-8 and 3-9 the last 4 seasons at Illinois.
This game should be another dog fight that will take 4 quarters to decide. This one could go either way.
Week 14: at Indiana Hoosiers - peay
We end the season against our other rival team, Indiana. This game could go either way with the Hoosiers coach Peay knowing his team well after coaching them for the past 9 seasons. The last 3 seasons he has went 7-6 which is pretty impressive in the B1G!
We expect to go 3-9 with a very tough schedule ahead of us!
