this is really nice. If this was real life, Ohio St would be out because they lost late not early (I never got that). Comes down to OSU, OU, and FLA in my eyes for #2. It's going to be interesting to see how it turns out.

It's hard not to say that OU or UF just earned themselves a shot after winning their Conference Championships...the late loss by OSU pretty much knocks them out of the NC talk. You can't avoid that USC is in..and they already proved they can beat ND, so the Irish had their shot already.

So agree, USC has done it and are in

OU vs. UF:

Key win:
Oklahoma: 11-2 Missouri [Conf. Champ]
Florida: 11-2 Florida State Seminoles [week 14]

Key Loss:
Oklahoma:8-4 Kansas State [week 9]
Florida: 10-2 LSU [week 7]

OOC:
Oklahoma:Nevada, Western Kentucky, North Texas, Memphis
Florida: Army, Rutgers, Northwestern, (Florida State rival:automatic)

Neither team really challenged themselves with their non-conference scheduling :/ so this is really tough.

I'm tempted to go with OU because their Conference Championship game was tough and against a top coach and I think they would match up well against USC. And the fact that FSU lost their Conference Championship actually hurt UF a lot.

Maybe we should throw 13-0 Bowling Green to the wolves! haha...with that tough MAC schedule and all ;)

Nice write-up, Nick. As a "MACster" myself, I'd like to see walker get his ass kicked in the championship game, or would he? HMM..... :D

Now that you mention it....everyone in favor of Utah getting a shot this year better put Bowling Green at the top!

Hmm, all the work I do last night doing the voting aid and Nick gets all the credit, that's nice to see ;)

All he did was cut and past the voting aid I send hours updating, and then he just cut out the first 12 weeks of the poll, but if it helps you if you vote, go for it.

If you want a really accurate picture of what people did, make sure you use the entire voting aid, because there were quite a few games in the top 25 I updated that people lost that were making up games from weeks 1-12

Its not even close to the same, because Utah beat four ranked teams, and in fact beat two top 10 teams in alabama and TCU. That's why Utah was in the BCS, and Boise and Ball State never were going to be considered, because Utah played a good schedule (and beat the only team that beat USC)
