First Round Draft Limit Timer

I find that guys are either prepared and available or they are not so I think using the same 30 minute timer in round 1 as we do in following rounds would work.

That being said, we always finish with plenty of time so it’s not urgent. I’ll let you guys decide

b/c no one is taking 31-59 minutes to make their pick. Ive monitored it for the last 3-4 drafts and everyone either picks within the first 30 minutes OR doesn't pick and goes to auto after an hour.

And why does that mean we need to change it? It's already been stated that we get it done in plenty of time before the in-game draft, so why change it?

if your not going to be there, then put it on auto. simple thing to do, but nothing is simple for most people.

Yeah, the commish can change it and put someone on auto too.
So shouldn't be too hard to reach out to guys without lists and say hey, you gonna be there? If not, you are going on Auto.
I can understand the frustration when people do not and you have to sit and wait for an hour.

we could go to an opt in option. basically like 3-4 days before the commish asks who is going to be there for the draft, you respond and you won't be auto'ed to start. post it in slack and here. if you don't respond, you deserve to start auto.

He did it intentionally too, would post on the boards and all. I was a little busy the first time and got jumped on so I took an additional 45 minutes to make my choice just to say "fuck off" to all that were bitching.
