2084 Season Thread... Crab Cakes and Baseball, That's What Maryland Does

Post by wdoupis »

Welcome to the 2084 season. Congrats to Smitty and the Bowie Bulldogs on winning his 3rd ring in 4 seasons. Heck of a start to the 2080s for Bowie. Congrats to Dan and Philly on a great playoff run as well and getting to the World Series.

In order to boost activity and hopefully get some more chatter I will do things a little differently this season. I will post everything per usual on the forums but I will also create some slack channels and post it on Slack as well. I hope this will get more chatter going and help with recruiting. Before anyone says it the forums are not going anywhere but we need more than what we are getting so I will try using both and see how it goes.

Other than that no changes from me. As always if you have something you'd like to propose please run it by myself or Neurotic to make sure it is possible and create a winter meeting.

I will sim normal time tomorrow since Arb is broken down in to two sims

Qualifying offer for this season will be $16,092,898

Good luck to everyone and lets have a great 2084 season!!!!!

I'm digging it! And I guess we'll just have to keep winning until Wolfe gets his just due!

Seems fitting that Cannon and Nonaka retired and had their numbers retired on the same day. Nonaka got some other jerseys there at the end but 17 great seasons for us.

Thanks Mike Moore for voiding last year. He still has 3 more months of being out due to a torn UCL.

I'd say rookie Mike Krieger got robbed for a gold glove:

Krieger - 10.8 ZR and 1.040 EFF
Chu - 7.6 ZR and 1.029 EFF
