Yo people! You all thought I forgot about you, huh?

Just stopping by to say hi. The Master's program at Gonzaga is within earshot of being completed (2 more courses) and it should be October or December to finish up.

A few of you out there might remember that my son was in the recruiting process (2009 recruiting class). What a journey! Made trips to visit Pat Hill at Fresno State, Cal Poly's staff before Rich Ellerson decided to coach Army (a bit disappointing for the family since that was our son's and our top choice...and they were very involved as in two separate visits to the campus). There was interest from San Diego State prior to Chuck Long deservingly getting the ax by the school's president. In the end, too many coaching changes and things got quiet in January.

In the end, after all of the unprecedented coaching moves and changes, Azusa Pacific University (just outside of Pasadena) & University of University of New Haven were there all along and the last schools standing with full ride offers.

Our son chose the Azusa Pacific Cougars and will be playing DE for them. Not the NCAA, but a $150,000 education in state is just fine. Below are some links to his highlight footage.

On a separate note, the bad news is the Blue-Ray player in my PS3 died. No yellow light...it won't read my discs. Took it apart and cleaned it, but no luck. Going with the 360 for NCAA 10 unless anyone has some solid suggestions for me.
