I do .. but I dont know how to turn it off either..

He is talking about the thing where you trying to switch guys you found your guy but it still wants to switch.. wont let you shift, audiable, nothing
But it will switch you to another guy but pressing any direction

I just hold O down

Is it possibly some type of defensive assist that needs to be disabled? My defenders do not auto switch and have not in any of the games I have played.

6ft did you re-map your controls? I don't get it as often pre play, but sometimes when your player gets blocked on defense and you're still holding speed burst it will switch to what they "think" is the closest guy. R2 is my button to switch players but sometimes it just disregards that. That's why I'm thinking it could be something with me changing the controls

I get teh opposite affect where I'm trying to switch players but instead the players move. Also I've had problems where the audibles and defensive men adjustments just don't work.

Yeah, I posted something about this on VSN or one of those other sites. It is driving me nuts. I thought that's what he was referring to, but I couldn't explain it very well either. If you switch players by holding down O and using the left analog stick, then you're going to run into this problem at some point.

I'm just worried that by doing this and all of a sudden you move your D-Lineman "manually" away from the line we'll get docked in the coaches report. If someone can figure this one out please post here.

Yeah but that doesn't help me when it switches the players for me during the play itself :)
