Weird connection issue

I can still play some people it seems, but I have now have several times (both in created and non-user created rooms) were it shows both of the teams to be my fav listed team. And if I am home then once my opponent is ready I cannot do anything other than back out of the game challenge screen. And if I am away the same things happens to my opponent. Anyone have any help on this one?

Router issue, specifically ports. The manual says to open the following ports

UDP Ports: 9570, 3659, 6000, 9950-9974, 9980-9989
TCP Ports: 80, 443, 25500-25599, 14000-14199

80 is already open or you ain't reading this message. Some of those ports are for the connection; some are for voice, I do not know which is which.

http://www.portforward.com/ if you don't know how to input this into your router.

If this is problem then I am pissed, cause I set this stuff up a long time ago and the only reason it would be changed is if my brother-in-law (who does not even live with us) messed with it when he was here last month. I hope this works, and if it does I might have to kill him.

Maybe it isn't the problem, but it is step one to figuring it out. Remember, it could be your opponent's router that is FUBAR

Gambit and I had (have) the same problem transpire today and I don't know what's up.

We tried everything and I can 99% guarantee you this is not on my end. I've been able to connect with everyone I play since I switched from Time Warner to AT&T two years ago.

Now I'm not saying it's his connection at all I'm just stating that I believe as of now it was just one of those EA days. Beefy and I can always connect out of the NDL room whereas Doc and I can never.
