I just played CNASTY for the first time and I had a blast. That is what the league is all about, 2 guys playing a game and having fun. Win, Lose, Draw, Sim, whatever. If you dont like this league, then find another one that compares to this one. Congrats Nasty I had a blast and only hope others have gmaes as fun as ours.

I wrote almost the exact same thing in my recap. When you just play the game, make it a manual chess match and not a gimmick chess match, this game can be as fun as any other version. That game was close throughout and neither of us relied on the gameplan rubbish. If every game was like that I'd want to play 5 seasons.

Hell of a game and those kind words are right back at ya man.

You know Doc and I have had that same conversation every time we scrim, and I agree, even though they are available I say do with out the game plan stuff, just line up play ball and have a kick ass time

Its just amazing to me that 65-70% of the league can play the exact way biffy and I just did but the rest can't seem to grasp lining up, pick a play, and beat the opposing coach with good play calling, user skills, and utilizing your players.

There is no excuse why ANYONE has to use any of the gampeplan shit. None at all. And don't toss that "lower rated" team shit to get an advantage.

Not so much glory days, more like celebrate the past and welcome the future. Sad nowadays when you play someone new that you never know what you may get gameplay wise, it was never like that "back in the day". It is sad to see some of the stuff that is going on here nowadays and it seems to happen more frequently, but as in the past the shit will get flushed.

personally, my issue isnt even with the game, its with the attitude in general.


before it was bust your ass to be the best, and since we've had threads on lowering whats acceptable/average in coaches reports, and have people flat out say, well if someone else is going to do something wrong, then fuck it, so am i.

im not gonna lie, this glory day stuff, i dont buy it. to me, people who will willing to buy a PS3 for an online league, are the heart of this league. The devotion to switch gaming systems is enough.

Besides, everyone who was here, can be replaced by someone new.

I haven't had any problem with the way people play me. I played Wes and he knows I run the flex so he came out in 4-4 and 5-2 for most of the game. Some people would give him a bad report for not mixing it up, but it is called strategy. I couldn't believe how bad my line got killed by his DL (Auburn vs. San Diego State), but that is all EA to me and don't get me started on my dropped 3rd down pass that would have sealed the game LOL.
