"Welcome to our Elo rating system, where each team's performance is quantified by a numerical rating. Elo ratings, originally designed for chess, are now widely used in competitive gaming to assess player skill. In our system, each team starts with a rating of 1500, and after each game, their rating is adjusted based on the outcome and the strength of their opponent.
