Nastys NDL Players of the Block (1&2)

Its about that time to roll out the first edition of Nasty's NDL Players of the Block. These will be posted at the beginning of each new block for the previous weeks. If you dont get your games in on time for the block, well I guess that means you possibly wont have a guy that can win the award huh?? :D

These are big shoes to fill from our previous commish that ran these so I will try my best and not leave you guys out in the "cold" each week.

Without further ado, lets get to Nasty's NDL Players of the Block...and cheerleader of the block of course. 8-)

Offensive Player of the Block-WEEK 1

Chris Masson,QB-ULL Ragin Cajuns

I refuse,REFUSE to give a player of the week to a running back in week 1...maybe week 2. These aerial stats impressed me more than John Clay's performance of over 200 yards, ho hum. To toss 4 TDs and put up 347 yards in week 1 gets my applause and a player of the block for week 1. Congrats!

Offensive Player of the Block-WEEK 2

DeMarco Murray,RB,Oklahoma Sooners

Alright, alright. It didnt take me to long to suck up my pride and award a RB for an amazing performance. DeMarco Murray and his 67 speed and 150 ACC and AGI dominated in week 2 posting 234 yards and 4 TDs on 34 carries. He said F yo speed rating and loves him some stamina rating!

Defensive Player of the Block-WEEK 1

Deunta Merletti,S-UNC Tarheels

This was tough. There was a dude who had 5 sacks but like my dislike for running the ball, 5 sacks from a DE seems a little beastly and it is. I prefer the secondary play and defensive backs making plays! Deunta made plays all over the field for the Heels as he allotted 3 picks and 6 tackles on the day.

Defensive Player of the Block-WEEK 2

Brian Hendricks, LB-Wyoming Cowboys

Alright dont give me that "Coach Nasty never recognizes the little guys" bullshit. I have a dude from ULL and Wyoming in the first isntallment of Nasty's Players of the Block! Hendricks was all over the damn field and doing everything possible in a Wyoming win. He racked up 8 tackles,3TFL, 1SK, 2PD, 1 DTD, 1FF, 1FR, and a partridge in a pear tree. Pretty impressive for a "litle guy".

Now to the part we have all been waiting for. Sure we love some stats, some football talk. But we all know this was created and mastered by an ICEhole and we cant have Nasty's Player of the Block without the cheerleader of the week!!! This little adorable one will touch many a heart especially in Miami. This is Cara from UCONN. She enjoys nice walks on a cool Autumn evening in Storrs,CT,grabbing a refreshing cocktail at the Thirsty Dog Pub and Grille,and DP.

She may not be the hottest cheerleader out there but I will keep this PG rather than my Xrated conference write ups. Say hi Cara!!

Ok, I couldnt do it. That girl is a 6 at best. Here are some co-eds from UCONN to give Cara a run for her money...

And sorry I think Sue Bird is cute :oops:
