Ware Watch - After Weeks 3 and 4

OFFENSE

#8 - TE Ladarius Green - 21 receptions for 336 yards (1 td) ,

Acounting for nearly a third of QB Chris Mason yards this season Green has been a constent threat to the Ragin Cajun's opponents. With 7 receptions in each game and at least 90 yards this guy could be a contender for the John Mackey Award.

#7-QB Andy Dalton - 35/57for 879 yards, 5 tds, 5 ints, RAT - 202.3,

TCU has started out 3-0 on the season, and all because of the leadership of Andy Dalton. This guy does it all. In the horned frogs most recent win against the pony boys of SMU, Andy passed for 390 yards and ran for 73.

#6-RB Derek Lawson - 65 carries for 403 yards (2 tds),

Lawson had his best game of the year in an upseting overtime loss to the Rajin Cajuns. He ran for 179 yards, but the Indians came up short. Derek is averaging 6.23 yards a carry which could lead the Indians to a few more victories in the Sun Belt this season.

#5-RB Brandon Jackson - 84 carries for 472 yards (4tds) 6 rec for 70 yards,

Brandon Jackson became a house hold name when we all saw his 76 yard scamper vs Colorado State this last weekend. He is 3rd in the nation in carries and is still averaging over 5 yards per touch.

#4 -TE Eric Peitz - 24 receptions for 351 yards(3 tds) ,

Leading all TE's in Catches and yards Peitz has been a shining star for the all but dull rams this year. The rams have started 0-3, but Peitz has not been to blame for that. Not only is he leading all TE's with those numbers, but there is not a better WR in the nation.

#3-QB Collin Kapernick 37/52 for 692 yards, 7 tds, 0 ints, RAT- 227.4,

It seems like Mr. Kapernick has been in the NCAA for over 10 years. This SR vetarn has the know how to take Nevada to a big Bowl this season. He has completed 71% of his passsses making him the most accurate passer with over 40 passes this season. Against SMU he had a QB rating of 336.6 while going 13- 16 for 290 yards and 5 tds. Can you say STUD?

#2-QB Chis Masson 80/117 for 1078 yards 10 tds, 2 ints, RAT- 107.6,

Being in the Sun belt confernce and leading the Nation in TD'S, and completions is no easy task. Masson has compleated 69% pecent of his passes after 4 games and shows no signs of slowing down. The Cajun's are throwing early and often in their games, and why not when you have this kids cannon.

#1- RB JJ DiLuigi 49 carries for 353 yards (5 tds),

Many might be surprised by my numberone selection, but give me a few seconds and I will have you convinced. BYU has only played in 2 games and in those games JJ has over 450 total yards. He has done in 2 games what most have done in 4. He is averaging a rushing td every 10 carries. That's unheard of!!! he also leads the team in receptions with 9 for 111 yards. He leads the nation in yards per carry at 7.2.

Convinced?

DEFENSE

#8SS Mana Silva 19 TCK(3TFL), 1 SACK, 1 PD

Silva seems to be in the right spot at all the right times. Now if he just had the knock out power of Anderson "the Spider" maybe they could get in the win colum.

#7- DE Marris Council 7TCK(5TFL), 3 SACK, 3FF

3 forced fumbles and 3 sacks....Are you kidding me. After only 2 games people might want to hold onto the ball when they see this steam train coming.

#6-DE Josh Brezuns 10TCK(6TFL), 5 SACKS, 1 PD, 1 FF

Brezuns has been haunting Qb's all season. He is a big part as to while wyoming is 3-0 in the league for the first time I can ever remember.

#5-DL Raderma Scypion 13TCK(8TFL), 7 SACKS, 1 FF

Houston under randawg has done nothing but pump out awared winning D- Lineman so why would anything change this season. Scypion is leading the nation in sacks.

#4- CB Bene Bewinkere 9 TCK, 12 PD

I tried to get in touch with the Spartan athletic department to make sure these stats were correct but for some reason they would not pick up the telephone. I am running with it. Sounds cool so I hope it is. 11 PASS DEFLECTIONS IN ONE GAME. WOW!

#3 - DE Mariurce Mercer 10TCK(7TFL), 4 SACKS, 1 INT

Filling up the stat column is nothing unusual for this Hog Molly. In the back field nearly every play his stats show the hard work this kid puts in game to game.

#2- CB Travis Simmons 5TCK, 4 INT, 5 PD, 1 FR

Seeing 2 ECU defends in the top 3 should make opponents very nervous. This Ball hawking stud has already grabbed 4 ints on the season. His abilty to read the Qb's eyes and make a play on the ball is second to none. An easy choice at this point for All- American at CB.

#1 -SS Chris Prosinski 14TCK, 3 INTS, 1 PD

After watching this kids hightlights you would think you were wacthing Roy williams. If he does not pick the ball off he makes the defender pay for catching it. If this guy had a dollar for evey dropped ball he has caused he would be a millioiare. He hits with a punch and defenders are scared of their own shadow when he is on the field.
