As the NDL enters its unprecedented 21st season, one thing's for sure: BigMike is still a force to be reckoned with. And for those of you that refuse to bask in his glory, a quick peek at the NDL Hall of Fame will do nothing but prove his awesomeness. So suffice it to say this early bird of a game has national title implications written all over it. Coach fsupenguin took Texas A&M to the Big 12 title game and Orange Bowl victory last season so the team is absolutely capable of big things. The key will be to see if relative newcomer Coach wsdp can carry that momentum into this season.

What To Watch
Who is wsdp? Where did this guy come from? He showed up one season (12) and then disappeared into nothingness, only to reappear again last season. Well let me tell you a little bit about this guy. He's a freelance sports reporter from Detroit and die-hard Michigan State fan. I ran a NCAA league with him for a few years so I can definitely attest to his PS3-playing skills. Although that hasn't translated well in the elite NDL, going 4-8 in both his seasons here. He's got a better team this time around and he's got a tough act to follow in fsupenguin. He will have to rely heavily on his passing game and limit QB Ryan Tannehill's mistakes. He can be an accurate passer if his o-line gives him time to throw.
BigMike is looking to return to the national title game after a heart-breaking loss to walker and the USC Trojans last season when he was coach of the Miami Hurricanes. This game here figures to be the only real non-conference roadblock this season for the Badgers, with other NC games against Ole Miss, Army, and Cal. Expect for Wisconsin to utilize RB John Clay often and effictively who, with a coach like Mike, should be an early candidate for the Heisman. The Badger defense, especially their defensive line, will give the Aggies all they can handle.
THE Untouchable Prediction
Experience often prevails in games like these. BigMike shouldn't put anything past wsdp, but the season opener is nothing more than a hurdle in his quest for a Big 10 and national title. There's a reason he's only lost 3 or more games a total of 5 times in his 20 year career. The Aggies will prove here they yet again have the tools to contend in the Big 12, but the Badgers will just be too much in the end.
