OKLAHOMA- Bearass has dreamed of this moment ever since his drunk heisman pose days. Another shot at his team and this time his team has the best ratings in the whole game. Everything is set for failure, but this OU fan and loyal "boomer sooner" who can be seen with his wagon hat and creepy NDL signs on ESPN Gameday will be the first to tell you...it isn't all that and a bag of chips.
"I am so screwed this year, because my schedule requires me to win like 10 games and I have to play 2-3 rivals," said Coach Bearass. "And I lost my cup game to UTEP, so I will need a miracle to keep my dream alive."
Oklahoma sure does have a tough road ahead of them on Running Down their Dream.
MIAMI (THA "U")- Cnasty is back with his boys and even though they are not nearly as good as the last time he had them, they still have the talent to post a threat for the title. Miami will have to deal with the likes of Virginia Teach, Clemson, North Carolina and rival Florida State. The coach of the Canes had this to say...
"Well being its my 4th time at Miami and they keep rehiring me trying to relive the glory days of Miami lore on the PS2, I guess thats a challenge in itself. I mean I dominated with Miami when I was actually good but as brwnbear has said, that was before Shel even knew how to make babies and now he has 2," said Coach Cnasty. "Now I will struggle to make my win goal of 10 with the likes of UNC, Miami, VTech and the other ACC battles on the slate and no commish points to help me anymore. The swag is definitely back at Miami because Im Swaggerific."
Well one thing is for sure. Hide your wife, Hide your kids and Hide your family. The swag is back and so are the Canes.
ALABAMA- The Alabama Crimson Tide are back for yet another year and they could very well be in the bottom half of this article, but I believe this is a great place to be. Bfivl has the tide competing every year, but in order to get to their dream they need to knock off the National Champion, LSU.
Alabama coach Bfivl was unavailable for comment as he prepares for the long road ahead.
Alabama will need to find to avoid the curves and potholes in order to complete their dream of a National Championship.
LOUSIANA STATE UNIVERSITY- The Season 21 National Champion LSU Tigers have a big season ahead of them and it won't be easy with a giant target on their back and Coach Shel. This might be the last chance for Shel to show the NDL what he has before life gets crazy with two little ones. Coach Shel did have this to say about the challenges ahead...
"Lots of challenges, relatively speaking of course, and not much practice. No time for scrimages, brutal schedule filled with B+ teams or better and 10 game win goal for the first time ever," said Coach Shel. "And on top of all that, we have a new quarterback at the helm."
The pressure in Baton Rouge is rising and Coach Shel is right in the middle of it.
VIRGINIA TECH- The Hokies have had their dream coach now for 3 seasons and as they enter the 4th there couldn't be any more pressure on Coach VTrunNgun. The Hokies have been good, but not great. VT will have a tough time of getting their dream of a National Title with the likes of Clemson, North Carolina, Miami and Florida St and the coach knows all about the pressure.
"The expectations I've for set for myself in Blacksburg are indeed high - what I "can" control is that. We're not happy with being a bridesmaid in the ACC let alone our own division," said Coach VTrunNgun. "I have not lost sight of that and I'm committed to making this program as good as it can be."
VT has been to the fork in the road one more than one occasion, but everytime has taken the wrong road. Will this be the year?
WISCONSIN- The Badgers have always been known as an above the pack team, but they can never seem to win under pressure. Big Mike has been set off to complete this mission for Wisconsin and so he hasnt been completely successful. The pressure on Mike to win a National Title is growing and that is why is proclaimed to be a front runner for the National Title.
Big Mike was unavailable for comment as he is eating meatball subs and preparing for the season.
