Tough road for coach niddler!

With a 2-5 record, their bowl chances are all but over.

The remainder of the Panthers schedule is Big East competition which is the most difficult section of their schedule.

Of their 5 losses, 1 was by 10 points and the other for were by 3, 7, 2 and 3 points.

"When I came to the Big East, Doc told me how competitive it is in this division and I have learned first hand that he was right. We will not win enough games for me to keep my job here at Pitt which is a shame. I would love to come back here and give it another go. It is always tough moving into a tough division like this and it taking a few games to learn your new team. I know our record does not reflect it, but I hope the fans at Pitt know that I am giving it my all. We have 4 games that were decided by 7 points or less and 3 of those by a field goal or less. We could/should be sitting at 6-1 right now or at least 5-2. The fans seem to like me here so we will see what next season has in store."

Coach niddler knows that the remainder of their schedule will be even tougher than the first half which means this could be the first season coach doesn't make a bowl game!
