Even though the record did not show, Coach Kdog had the Beavers rolling toward the end of the season. Thanks in big part to the Oregon State Defense. Some of the leaders that helped keep OSU in most of the game and helped win almost all of the 5 were:
LB Feti Unga with 73 tak 11 tfl 1 sack 6 INT 11 PD 3 DTD
DB Jordan Poyer with 39 Tak 3 Tfl 6 INT 1 PD 2 DTD
On the offensive side was solid leadership and play from
RB Malcolm Agnew with 210 car 788 yds 10 TD 0 Fum 33 long and 263 RAC
The receivers were solid throughout the season making a Decent Qb in Mannion look good when he was accurate. The leaders in receiving are below:
One receiver that was not used nearly enough that looks to get more playing time in season 26 is young talent Obum Gwacham. Things look up for Oregon St with noting but positives coming out of the Beaver off season workouts.
The question still looms to whether 1st year coach Kdog will stay or move on. Rumors are that teams from the SEC and MAC are calling with special interest in the SEC. Kdog has spent some time in the SEC and enjoyed it greatly. Kdog responded by letting the media know that right now his focus was on family and Fifa 13 at this time. The team will be the first to know when I make a decision, that is if one is to be made. Stay tuned.
Congrats to all the Coaches this past season. It was enjoyable and fun.
