GEORGIA STATE SUFFERS OPENING LOSS

The Georgia State Panthers lose in a big way to their home state foes Georgia Bulldogs. The Panthers had no answers on defense as Travis Etienne had 282 yards on the ground to go along with a team rushing total of 446 yards and three touchdowns. The offense didn't fair any better as the team had a paltry 184 total yards to go along with 7 turnovers.

The Panthers will lick their wounds and take the show on the road to Fresno St for week two and a chance to right the ship. The schedule is definitely looking a little more forgiving from here on out.
