Michigan fans are stunned after a tough loss to the Vols

Michigan loses a tough one in Knoxville

Article By: phreakk

Michigan travelled to Knoxville and suffers its first loss of the season in thrilling fashion. The Wolverines Defense gave Tennessee's Offense a run for their money, they stood tough and did not allow an offensive Touchdown in the first half. The Vols were able to put points up when it mattered the most.

Michigan's Offense was led by Donovan Edwards, whom ran for 151 yards on 23 attempts and 3 Touchdowns. The offense moved the ball well on the ground and in the air. Alex Orji threw a beautiful pass into triple coverage where Frederick Moore came slightly off his route and made a magnificent catch and run for an 80 yard touchdown. Unfortunately, the woes began in the second half where the Vols Defense came up clutch forcing an almost pick six and a forced fumble in which no one was able to scoop the ball for 10 seconds. Coach Phreakk gave Edwards and earful for not dropping on the live ball.

Michigan looks forward to their bye week to regroup and reassess their Offensive Playbook and prepare for a home game with the Trojans.
